My Kemper Cutter and Drill Bit Keeper

Blade Safe. This was made from scrap clay.

Tool Box. I found this box at a thrift store, I altered it by covering it with different papers, inks and rubber stamps.

Open Tool Box. This is the open tool box. I covered an old check book box with papers and inks. Notice that the cover holds plenty of items. I drilled holes in the cover and used waxed linen to tie items to the cover.

Inside Tool Box. I painted the inside of the tool box and added four wooden squares to hold up the shelf shown in the next photo.

Inside Box Shelf. I covered a piece of cardboard to make a shelf for the check book box to sit on. There is a lot of room under the shelf for storing longer items.

What a beautiful tool box! I struggle with organization but I think a lovingly decorated box would entice me to put things away. It’s a lovely change from the usual tackle box or Rubbermaid tote. Thanks for the inspiration.

I should have added: The blade safe is also ingenious. I was trying to figure out the best way to store my blades today. Do you mind sharing a brief outline of how you made it? I’m a complete newbie and don’t have a clue where to start! Any hints you could provide on the construction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
